Bunker Bay – Just Tinkering
Hi Everyone,
Just me tinkering around with some textures. I’ve been hanging out to try this sort of photoshop treatment for ages but I couldn’t find a site that had any decent textures to use. Well thanks to Brent Pearson I’ve finally managed to find a site full of textures that I’m going to use to experiment on my Australian landscape and seascape photographs. Obviously textures don’t suit every photo but its certainly fun to try something different. Have any of you guys experimented with textures in your photos at all? If you haven’t tried it but are curious and want to give it a go, check out Brent’s excellent tutorial on is blog.
On with the tinkering. 🙂
Comments are always appreciated.
Thanks,
Jamie Paterson
Perth City Reflections
Hi Everyone!
I just love this photo. I was walking to work on Saturday and of course I had my camera with me, I was trying to get a few urban landscape shots. Anyhow as always is the case I had my eyes on the street and had walked up and down the street twice getting shots of doors and steps before I looked up and saw this. I guess the time of day was just right. It really does show though that whenever you can you should always carry your camera with you because you just don’t know where your next shot is going to come from.
Photo Settings (for Chloe):
Lens – Canon 16-35mm F/2.8 USM II
Aperture – F16
ISO – 100
Shutter – 1/25sec
Have any of you guys taken a walk through the city trying to get photos? Whether it be Perth or elsewhere? Have you ever dragged your camera along ‘just in case’ and then end up getting a cool shot?
Thanks,
Jamie Paterson
