    Hi Jamie
Love your sight and your Photos, They touch the Soul, they are beautiful, something you must have heard many times over.
I have only just start taking photos now my children are adults.
I love spending my days off walking through the bush taking photos of nature. I find nature supplies an endless canvas. It is early days for me but a look forward to spending my free time learning how to take some great photos of nature to share.
Your great sight has already helped me on my way.
    Many Thanks,
    Gloria Jean.

  4. G’day Jamie!

I just want to congratulate you for having such awesome photographs. Ultimately, your photos are both pleasing and convincing, leaving no trace of doubt about the validity of the subjects you capture. I’ve only know some good photographers whom I admire so much, rather than envy. Undoubtedly, your images compels anyone who sees it to step out of their comfort zones and get drenched under the scorching sun, wade on coastal waters and walk on sharp-edged stones to reach a certain destination to photograph.

I’m only a noob to this field and still grasping the do’s and dont’s of it that is why, if it doesn’t cause you much trouble, I would like you to include your settings and how you capture those astounding images. Patrick Smith does the same in his flickr images and viewers like me really appreciate his way of teaching others the way he does. I know each good photographer out there has his own way of doing things right and I do understand if he wants to keep that for himself, but above all I do believe that one’s success should never be counted by the number of awarded photographs he was able to capture but by the number of people whom he was able to influence and inspire.

    Kudos!

    Cheers,
    Jhay Baniaga (Philippines)

  8. Hi Jamie, I have enjoyed strolling through your blog. As a fellow Perth photographer its great to see what other locals are managing to capture. I like the abstract surf shots, something a bit different, but they work for me 🙂

  9. Hairi

    Hai Jamie,

Im Hairi…from Malaysia…i really love your work…beautiful n very nice work….. I have 1 question for you… What lens did you use for wide angle for landscape or seascape?

    Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 12:04

    • Hi Hairi,

I use the 16-35mm for nearly all my work but I’m considering moving over to the 17mm TSE. I hope that helps!

      Thanks,

      Jamie
