Dinosaur Eye

aerial photography, north west, western australia, helicopter photography

I got to admit I really love this shot.  I managed to capture it a few months ago from a helicopter at about 1500ft when I was on my trip up North with some VIPs.  It was taken about 100kms south of Karratha along the coast line.

The half moon orange green object is actually a mini island and the red above it is the actual coast.  Most of the white is dried up salt.  It all adds up to a pretty cool image if I do say so myself.

So why the title Dinosaur Eye?   There were quite a few people on my Facebook Page who thought it looked like a dinosaur eye and after checking it out I have to agree with them.

I’d love to hear your comments on the photo.
