Cottesloe Beach Blur

cott, cottesloe, north cottesloe, seascape photography, long exposure, landscape photography

Last Friday afternoon it was really windy and blustery but I thought I would head out to Cottesloe Beach anyway and see what I could come up with.   I decided to use the good old Lee Big Stopper to try and add some drama to the image as it was still early afternoon.   As you would expect there was virtually no one on the beach as it was just so cold.

I know its not your typical Cottesloe Beach photo with lots of blue sky and people running around everywhere but I really wanted one that showed how dramatic and empty this place can be during winter.  I think I passed the challenge, hopefully you guys do as well.

Thanks,

Jamie

  1. Sorry mate, not sure I dig it. Just a little too much sky for me, like the idea though.
