Earth meets Ocean
Wow I love this shot, I can’t believe I didn’t see it before when I was going through my images. I just can’t get over the white streak of water rushing past where I was standing, trying to pull me in and you can see the water running off the rocks in front of me. I managed to capture this on Friday evening, I must admit I didn’t think the sunset was going to go off, in fact when I arrived, there was nothing but rain squalls hitting the area and I was tempted to head on home.
As always patience pays off and just before sunset the rain disappeared long enough to get 20mins of shooting time. It just goes to show you should never write off a sunrise or sunset until they’ve actually happened.
Hope everyone had a really awesome weekend!

That is absolutely stunning – those white streaks are amazing! King of Waves strikes again, this is fantastic. Simply fantastic wave capture, that water is alive!
Only thing is I don’t like the colour match all that much. The purples and magentas of the clouds versus the greens. I wouldn’t wear that combination for sure 🙂 Have you tried a black and white version?

Ahhh now I know why you’re single. You aren’t wearing funky colour matched clothes! I’m not into black and whites and seascapes………….. yet. I have been tinkering with it though. Thanks Flemming I’m glad I’ve managed to take back my title again. 🙂 I will give this a go in black and white.
