Crazy Tombstoning Photo

Anyone see this crazy ‘Tombstoning’ photo today?   Can’t believe people do this but I can’t believe how lucky the photographer was getting the shot.

What do you guys think?  Crazy?  Markie Mark would probably do it.

    • Hey Chloe,

I agree capturing the shot would be cool but the jump wouldn’t be.

Friggen nutter if you ask me mate!

I was in the WA high diving team when I was in High School and came a cropper after attempting a 2.5 sommersault landing in the water sort of feet first and legs apart!

My crown jewels were black and blue and sore for a week and that was only from 10m!

I told my coach that was to be my last high dive…and it was!!!

You could so easily die from jumping from 30m and it would be more god luck than management as to if you lived or not!

    • Hey Mark,

I’m pretty sure you were right when you said God luck rather than good luck for a 30M jump. I certainly wouldn’t do it especially if there was a risk to the crown jewels!!!

  4. Aweome shots but I think it was set up for sure camera set on tripod and all just think you couldn’t help but follow the diver with camera well I think so anyway.
But what a rush I find it hard to jump from 5 metres let alone 30 metres but good find Jamie thats for sure maybe we could all go and search for some silly bugger to do it for us lol.

    • Hey Brett,

Maybe Mark will jump for us? hehe. The jury is out for me. I mean I nearly always shoot with a tripod so why not this guy? I agree that its a huge coincidence though.
