Spot Lunch Anyone?
Hi Everyone,
Can anyone spot lunch in this photo? I was drooling when I saw this guy in the water just looking back at me. These painted crayfish have no fear as nothing really tries to get them other than turtles. You can swim right up to them and they just stare straight back at you. At Rottnest the crays disappear when you get within 20M of them. I just love this shot because the water is so clear and the coral has great colours in it.
It was just another day in paradise. Ahhh summer is just around the corner now, can you guys feel it?
All comments appreciated. 🙂

Grab glove, strip into speedos, tie a knife to your waist (so you look like Albey Mangels), dive overboard and grab cray…cook cray on isolated beach with sexy lady in string bikini.

Hey Chloe,
If you look at the large version you should see a crayfish right in the middle of the photo.

I have it from a reliable source that the Cray in mention is no longer of this earth. It is now flowing into the septic system on an island around the Monte’s. It’s probably sharing a pipe with that coral trout that went missing.
Good one Jamie.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for that mate, glad you liked the photo. I’m sure the cray is still there. 😉 I do owe you a photo though don’t I?
