Jamie Paterson – Images of Inspiration, Captivation, and Fascination

Kings Park Splendour

Hi Everyone,

This is a photo I got a few weeks ago when I was on my way to work and I was pretty stoked with the results.   Its funny because even though there wasn’t any colour the other photographers left but as you can see it was still a really moody start to the day which I thought was still great to watch unfold.   I have to admit I was really exhausted after this shoot because so many personal trainers were yelling and screaming at their classes and everyone was sweating so hard.   I felt like I lost weight just by being there.   I can think of better things to do in the morning than run around having some bloke scream at me.

This photo also has my new logo especially designed for me by Beau Mitchell.  Thanks Beau!!!

  1. Wow, Jamie, this has to be one of my favourites of yours! Nice light and cloud cover…

    It kinda looks like the building on the left is on a tilt – easily fixed in photoshop with the perspective tool, or if it’s a stitch you can use the vertical control point tool to straighten it up during the stitching process.

  2. James, brilliant, one of your very best!! Real classy cityscape with a great fine art look to it and super drama in the clouds! Very well done and shows a cloudy morning can be just as good as a sunny one!

    Beau might be right, building of the left could be tilting just a bit.

    @Martybugs – Thanks Marty. Just goes to show that you need to stick around no matter what.

    @Michael – Thanks for stopping in and commenting. I agree it was the clouds that really got me excited.

    @Clint – Where you out of town this day at all? 😉

    @Flemming – Thank You. 🙂

    @Beau – The building on the left is built in a weird shape and it does come out strangely but its definitely not distortion of any sort. BTW take a bow Beau for the logo.

    Hi Neal,

    Thanks for that. Amazing what a bit of monitor calibration can do. 🙂

  12. Stick some sort of watermark on your image if you going to post large images though, otherwise you will find they will get ripped off.
