Noble Falls Recon
I got bored this afternoon and had some time up my sleeves so I decided to follow up on a converstation I was having with Kirk and Neal this morning and did a recon run to Noble Falls. I met two really nice photographers Michael and Cory who turned up to get some sunset shots. I was only there for a recon run so I took a couple of quick shots and then left them to it. This is definitely a shot I would like to tackle in the early morning.

Neal,
There was stacks of water and because of that it was really crowded with people checking it out. I reckon it a mega early morning run.

Sounds good to me, I was either going to do this or Kalamunda Falls …. But this area sounds fine by me …. Sat morning is not looking to good for me, Sunday is better, but if the weather is going to be better Sat morn than Sun morn then we should try the better weather day …

Hi Guys,
I was looking at tackling both these waterfalls this weekend. I was going to do Lesmurdie Falls on one day and Noble Falls on the other.

Sunday would be better for me , but if the lights good on saturday should be keen depending on the time .

I can manage both mornings for both locations just depends on this weather I guess.
Say we say 6.15am at Noble on Saturday and same on Sunday for Kalamunda dependent on weather?

Hi Neal,
Its a done deal. I was thinking of Lesmurdie Falls Saturday but you’re right the weather may not be great on Saturday. Noble Falls are only 10M from the carpark so they would be a better target on Saturday, if it rains we can quickly duck back in the car. I’m going to turn up at 0600 as I want to muck around with some really long exposures. At least its going to be a warm six degrees tomorrow. I was even thinking of turning up at 0530 and using a torch to paint with light but I think that is getting a bit too excitable.
So Saturday 0600 to 0615? I’ll be there. The Noble Falls Tavern is almost directly opposite.

Cool Ill see you guys up there , what road is it off just to make sure Ill end up at the right place with my GPS .

Hi Kirk,
You need to drive for about 30mins down Toodyay Rd. On the right hand side you will come across the Noble Falls Tavern and about 25M down the road on the left you’ll see the turnoff to Noble Falls.
I think its between this Lilydale Rd and Mayo Rd.
