Hi Flemming,

I must admit I've not really been looking forward to going away. After spending six years in the Navy I really appreciate being at home. However, now that the trip is less than 48hrs away I'm as excited as hell. I'm hoping to capture lots of abandoned buildings, old mines, and towns along the way before actually getting to the CSR. I've now done plenty of research and found heaps of good spots that I can capture along the way. Just think of all the post processing!!!! LOL.

You're on the Canning Stock Route? Wauv, can't wait to see your shots! Always wanted to do that route, a mate of mine in Perth did it years ago in his OKA 4wd.

Hi Flemming,

Thanks for the great comment! I love the quality of your work. This photo will definitely get more work done to it when I get back from the Canning Stock Route.

Yeah the course was deffiantly worth it , just have to put it to use now .
There is so much to shoot down south and only had a couple of days :)
Stopped off at Busselton Jetty on the way down there on Friday to get a shot of the jetty as i have yet to get one nice light expect the clouds had moved away from the jetty as the light got better .
Then on Saturday morning went to sugarloaf , will hopefully have a pic from saturday morning posted tonight .Then at sunset went to yallingup beach and this morning stoped off at Castle Rock before I head back up to Perth .

Hi Kirk,

Christian's courses certainly are well worth the money aren't they? No the light was pretty boring this weekend, you didn't miss much at all. Where did you shoot down south?

Hi Beau,

Point taken. :-) Will be working on it this weekend.

Anyone intersted in doing a shoot this Saturday evening or Sunday morning?

Nice work, Jamie. Looks good but agree with the others, still needs a bit more work. Maybe a little lightening up and slight colour boost.

Last night I finally got to take the 5D out and shoot a sunset. I love it!

Cheers
